Examples of our Work include:
Labrador Innu Comprehensive Healthing Strategy LICHS. Appointed by Innu Leadership to ensure Innu interests, views and concerns were integreated from the initial design throgh to Canada’s response to the final evaluation report. (2009-2010)
Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation Economic Development Organization Review. Reviewed existing organization’s approach to economic developmet and its governance and accountabilities. Recommendations for revised structure, re-investment, and improved transparency provided at community meeting. (2010)
Innu Health Needs Assessment. Appointed by First Nation Leadership to ensure data collectio was accurate and as exhaustive as possible, and that the capacity component was well defined and accurate. Final products displayed many data gaps and that health was far behind other populations and that identifiable capacity issues needed addressing in all three levels of government. (2011)
Tobique Child and Family Services Agency Review. Chignecto conducted interviews,file reviews, and a process and budgetary analysis and developed recommendationsfor program improvement. (2006)
Elsipogtog Child and Family Services Agency Review. Chignecto conducted interviews,file reviews, and a process and budgetary analysis and developed recommendationsfor program improvement. (2005)
Building Environmental Aboriginal Human Resources (BEAHR). Chignecto evaluatedthe Aboriginal EnviroCareers (AEC) product. Information was collected by survey,analyzed, and reported on including recommendations. (2004)
Torngat Housing Authority Independent Review. Chignecto conducted an independentreview for the federal-provincial steering committee. (2003)
Inter Cultural Communication Project of Information Products for CMHC. Chignectoprepared a survey and evaluation instrument to assess housing information products.(2002)
Aboriginal Post-Secondary Education Review. Chignecto conducted the Nova Scotia/Newfoundland portion of the national survey on Aboriginal post secondary education(2001).
