Labrador Innu Comprehensive Healing Strategy (LICHS) Evaluation (2009-2010)
Chignecto was appointment by Innu leadership to ensure Innu interests, views and concerns were integrated from initial design through to Canada’s response to the final evaluation report.
Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation Economic Development Organization Review (2010)
Reviewed existing organization ad approach to economic development and its governance and accountability characteristics. Recommendations revolved around a revised structure, re-investment and improved transparency provided at community meetings.
Innu Health Needs Assessment (2011)
Appointed by First Nation leadership to ensure data collection was accurate and as exhaustive as possible, and that the capacity component was well defined and accurate. Final products displayed many data gaps, that health was far behind other populations, and that identifiable capacity issues needed addressing in all three levels of government.
