Fiscal Management
Running a First Nation requires expertise and knowledge in a wide range of areas beyond the development of budgets. As the federal government opens up Funding Arrangements to allow for more discretionary distribution of funds, First Nation management have to become more than managers of funds, but long-term strategists for the fiscal realities of their communities.
